How to download TSB bank statements as PDF or CSV

TSB keeps your paperless statements as PDFs in the app's Digital Inbox, and says it never deletes them. CSV exports are much shorter. Here is where to find each and what to watch for.

Download a TSB statement as PDF (app)

Open the TSB app and tap your profile icon.
Go to Inbox (the Digital Inbox).
Tap the statement you need, then the download icon.

How TSB paperless statements work

Paperless statements are PDFs that "look exactly the same as the paper versions".
TSB says it "will never alter or delete any items in your Digital Inbox", so older statements stay available.
Duplicate statements ordered by phone or chat are chargeable for current and savings accounts.

Can you download TSB transactions as CSV?

TSB's personal help pages don't name a CSV format. Business Internet Banking lets any access level "download statements into a financial software package". Third-party guides describe a personal export at the bottom of the transaction list as CSV or QIF, but report it is capped at around 90 days or 150 transactions per file and leaves out balances.

So for a full year, or to keep balances, the PDF statement is the complete record.

TSB statements use separate paid-in and paid-out columns. A converter should keep both, and check the running balance on every line.

Does FreeAgent accept TSB CSV files?

Yes, FreeAgent lists TSB among the banks whose CSV it accepts directly. Xero, QuickBooks and Sage need their own layouts: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage.
