How to download Starling Bank transactions as CSV
Updated 31 October 2026 · Rowclean
Since August 2026 Starling separates statements from CSV. Monthly statements are PDF only; CSV is a "transaction summary" covering the last 12 months at most.
Download a Starling CSV
- Open the account menu and go to Statements and documents › Statement history.
- Tap the blue Go to feed exports link.
- Choose Current month to date, Last 3 full months, or a Custom date range within the last 12 months.
- Pick CSV (PDF and large-print PDF are also offered).
What changed in August 2026
- Monthly statements are now PDF or large-print PDF only, for full calendar months, with a "True Copy" stamp on every page.
- Choosing several months downloads a ZIP of PDFs.
- Starling says CSV feed exports "are not verifiable statements".
- Last month's statement appears between the 4th and 10th of the month.
Older than 12 months?
The CSV feed export stops at 12 months, so for earlier periods use the monthly PDF statements, which are the permanent record. Closed-account history can be requested for up to 5 years after closure.
Rowclean turns it into a CSV in your browser (nothing is uploaded), shows every row with its page and line, and checks the running balance to the penny before you pay. £4 a statement, no subscription.

Does Starling connect to Xero, FreeAgent and QuickBooks?
Yes, Starling offers integrations for business accounts, and Xero's Starling feed can import up to 12 months at setup. For periods the feed doesn't cover, import a CSV: Xero layout.
